Creating new Issues in CONQA is quick and easy to do while on the move through the site.
There are two ways you can create a new issue
Raising an Issue from the checkpoint:
While working through checklists, if you come across a fail or a snag, you can create an Issue by hitting 'Raise Issue' under the status selector.
Raising Issues from the checkpoint makes it easy to highlight fails, and assign them to someone for resolution, without having to stop completing QA.
Raising an Issue not linked to a checkpoint
You can hit the +ADD button to raise new Issues, without having to look through the project for the relevant checkpoint(s).
Creating Issues this way works well for your Main Contractor or Client to record any defects during their site walks, and ensure the issue is recorded and assigned to someone for resolution.
Submitting an Issue
Once you have started creating an Issue with one of the methods above, you will need to complete the short form to record the Issue in CONQA.
To submit the issue you will need a title and description, and you can also assign to a specific user, and set a due date. You will be able to pick an assignee from users who have access to this project already, just click on the arrow in the 'Assigned to' field to see a list of all available users, and you can type in this field to filter the list of people. When the Issue is submitted, the assignee will receive a notification, and will be able to view the Issue in their 'My Issues' list.
If a due date passes and the Issue is still unresolved, you will see the due date show up in red.
