In CONQA, you have the option to make certain checklist features mandatory, making sure site users are guided to capture the required evidence accurately.
Please be aware Mandatory fields need to be configured by CONQA staff, email us at support@conqahq.com to let us know if you have any fields that you wish to set up mandatory files or mandatory signoffs on.
Mandatory Files for Checkpoints
Checkpoints can be set to have a mandatory file requirement. This ensures a checkpoint has a photo or file attached before the status can be set.
Mandatory Checkpoint Fields
Datapoints attached to checkpoints can be set as mandatory, ensuring the field is completed before a status is set for the checkpoint. These datapoints could include textboxes, dropdowns and button selects.
Mandatory fields are marked with a red asterisk*

Mandatory Sign-offs
Sign-offs (also known as Holdpoints) can be set to mandatory at an account level. Turning this setting on ensures all sign-off fields across all projects in your account require a signature before any subsequent checkpoints can have a status set.
How do I request mandatory checkpoints, checkpoint fields and/or holdpoints?
Mandatory requirements are enabled by the CONQA Customer team. Contact us via email at support@conqahq.com or live chat to let us know what checkpoints or checkpoint fields you require to be made mandatory.
The best way to communicate this is to mark up an excel sheet with your checklist content, indicating which parts of the checklist you wish to make mandatory, see example below:
It’s important to note that mandatory checkpoints and checkpoint fields are set by name, and are applied account wide. This means that every checkpoint and checkpoint field that match the specified name across the account will be made mandatory. If you require a mandatory checkpoint or checkpoint field that is specific to one project, make sure this checkpoint has a unique name to that project.
Mandatory sign-offs are also set at an account level, and do not have the option to be set on certain projects only.
