See the list below for the components you can use when creating a checklist template.
Remember - checklist templates can be as simple or as complex as you like.
Component | What does it do? | What does it look like?
checklist |
This is where you specify the name of the checklist. It is a required field on all checklist templates |
|
|||
section | This breaks your checklist up into collapsible sections. These are not necessary, but when used, each section must contain at least one checkpoint.
checkpoint |
This is a necessary component, all checklist templates must include at least one checkpoint. A checkpoint is where you can set the status, add comments and attach files. |
|
|||
checkpoint-no-status | This can be used the same way as a checkpoint, the only difference is that it does not have a status attached. You might use this when you want to attach photos but not have them linked to a PASS/FAIL
All of the below datapoints must be attached to a checkpoint. You do this by simply making sure there is a checkpoint in your checklist template. The data point will then attach to the above checkpoint. |
|||||
*button | You can set specific button values, of which only one can be selected at a time. Specify these in the 'values' column, separating each with a comma (e.g: 1, 2, 3)
date | Provides a date input box with a calendar picker to select a date
*dropdown | This gives multiple specific answer types, of which only one (or none) can be selected at time. Specify these in the 'values' column, separating each with a comma (e.g: One, Two, Three)
signoff | This prompts for a signature to be added, either on site, or a digital request for a signature to be sent via email to someone off site. If required these can be made mandatory.
label | This is a text label that shows under the parent checkpoint
number | A short text field allowing for only numerical input
*radio | You can set specific response values, of which only one can be selected at a time. Specify these in the 'values' column, separating each with a comma (e.g: A, B, C)
note | A free text input field that allows users to write notes and add comments to the above checkpoint
tickbox | Add a single check box that can be checked or left empty |
For components marked with an * you will need to specify the options in the ‘values’ column of your checklist template.
