Console Navigation Changes

On Monday 30 March CONQA will update with a refreshed visual design. This article explains what will change, what will stay the same, and what you'll notice when you first log in after the update.

What's changing

The main navigation, including Explorer, Sign-offs, Issues, Reports, and Settings, will move from the top of the page to a panel on the left-hand side.

The panel can be collapsed to an icon-only view when you need more screen space, or expanded to show full labels. You can switch between the two at any time.

You will also be able to switch between projects, without having to go back to the Project List. Click on the Projects > tab, and select or search in the pop out.

If you want to view the classic Project List, just click on the account name at the top of the screen. Click on the CONQA logo to view all Accounts you have access to.

What this means for you

Navigation sections will be clearly labelled and easier to scan, especially when moving between different areas of a project. Collapsing the panel frees up horizontal space, useful when reviewing checklists or dashboards. The layout will also be consistent across all your projects.

What's not changing

All your projects, checklists, folders, and data will remain exactly as they are. Every feature and workflow stays the same, and nothing is being removed. How you complete tasks (raising issues, signing off, running reports) is unchanged. Your account settings, permissions, and user access are unaffected.

What you'll notice first

When you log in after release, the top navigation bar will no longer show section links. Instead, you'll see a panel on the left. If it's collapsed, you'll see icons only, click or hover to expand and see full labels. The breadcrumb at the top of the page will still show the name of the Account and Project you are accessing.

Do you need to do anything?

Nothing at all. The update will apply automatically on Monday 30 March. There is nothing to enable, install, or configure.
